New Update: Boost Social Proof with Reviews & Automation
New Update: Boost Social Proof with Reviews & Automation
When I started my first WordPress blog, I used Rafflecopter for giveaways. It was the only tool I really knew at the time, so I stuck with it.
But after a while, I wanted more. I needed something easier to use and better looking. So I started trying other tools to see what else was out there.
After testing a bunch of them, I found several Rafflecopter alternatives that worked way better for me.
In this post, I’ll show you the best alternatives to Rafflecopter for WordPress, so you can run giveaways that are simple, fun, and good for your website.
Before I begin, here’s a quick comparison of the top Rafflecopter alternatives and competitors to help you choose the right one for your website.
# | Plugin | Best For | Pricing |
---|---|---|---|
🥇 | RafflePress | WordPress giveaways | Starts at $39.50/year |
🥈 | WPForms | Beginner-friendly forms | Starts at $49.50/year |
🥉 | Woorise | Lead generation | Starts at $49/month |
4 | ShortStack | Digital marketing | Starts at $79/month |
5 | Agorapulse | Social media management | Starts at $89/month |
6 | Woobox | Landing pages | Starts at $37/month |
7 | Wishpond | Full-suite marketing | Starts at $49/month |
8 | Easypromos | Digital promotions | Starts at $29/month |

Even though Rafflecopter is a popular giveaway tool, it doesn’t work for everyone. I used it for a while, but I needed more features and flexibility.
For example, I wanted to let people enter by uploading images. That’s really helpful for collecting user-generated content (UGC), but Rafflecopter doesn’t support that.
It also isn’t very beginner-friendly on WordPress. To embed your giveaway, you have to copy and paste some HTML code into the right place. That’s not ideal if you’re new to WordPress. Many Rafflecopter alternatives come with a WordPress plugin so you can set everything up right from your dashboard.
And if you’ve ever had trouble with Rafflecopter’s winner selection or worried about fake entries, you’re not alone. A lot of the tools I cover in this post have better options for picking winners and keeping things fair.
In short, using an alternative to Rafflecopter can make giveaways easier, safer, and more fun to run. If you’re still unsure, take a look at this full Rafflecopter review to see if it’s right for you.
I used Rafflecopter for a long time before I even knew other tools existed. Once I started exploring, I realized there were much better options for WordPress users like me.
So I tested each tool in this list by setting up real giveaway campaigns. I paid close attention to what each one could do, how easy it was to use, and how well it worked on my site.
Here’s what I looked at when testing these Rafflecopter alternatives:
To create a successful giveaway from your website, take a look at these top alternatives to Rafflecopter for WordPress:
RafflePress is one of the best WordPress giveaway plugins I’ve ever used. It’s simple to set up, even if you’ve never run a contest before, and it includes everything you need to grow your email list, website traffic, or social media followers.
What really impressed me is how much you get in the free version. It’s not just a demo, it actually gives you real tools to launch a working giveaway without paying anything upfront.
RafflePress Free Features:
When I switched to RafflePress, the difference was huge. I no longer had to mess around with shortcodes or manual HTML. I just picked a template, added my prize, and published it to my WordPress site in minutes.
If you want even more features, the Pro version of RafflePress adds a ton of advanced options.
RafflePress Pro Features:
One of my favorite features is how it encourages your visitors to share the giveaway for extra entries. That helped me bring in a lot more traffic than I expected.
It also takes security seriously. With fraud protection and a real random winner selector, you don’t have to worry about cheating or picking someone unfairly.
User Review
In a RafflePress review from WPBeginner, they detailed how they used the plugin to run their 14th birthday giveaway. The campaign resulted in tens of thousands of leads and over 20,000+ participants.
RafflePress Pricing:
The free version of RafflePress is a great place to start. But for all the best features, the Pro version starts from $39.50/year with unlimited contest entries.
If you’re looking for another Rafflecopter alternative, WPForms is a great option. It’s mostly known as a form builder plugin, but it also has an easy way to run basic giveaways.
What I like about WPForms is how simple it is to use. It comes with a pre-built contest entry form template, so you can launch a giveaway in just a few minutes.
WPForms Features:

On G2, users give WPForms 4.7 out of 5 stars. One business owner commented:

WPForms Pricing:
WPForms starts from $49.50/year.
Woorise is an all-in-one lead generation and marketing platform. It’s a solid Rafflecopter alternative, especially if you want to build more than just giveaways.
I gave Woorise a try when I was looking for something with more campaign options. It definitely has a polished interface, but I found that some of the best giveaway features are only available on the paid plans.
Woorise Features:
User Review
Over at Capterra, users gave Woorise a 4.7 out of 5-star rating. One user found it “easy once I learned my around” while expressing there was a learning curve and occasional glitches during setup.
Woorise Pricing:
This contest software offers a limited free version. Yet, the premium Grow version pricing starts at $49 per month for up to 5000 contest entries.

ShortStack is another popular Rafflecopter alternative. It’s a cloud-based tool that helps you build giveaways, landing pages, and lead generation campaigns.
I tested ShortStack when I wanted something with more advanced options. It has a lot of flexibility, but it’s not the most beginner-friendly tool I’ve tried.
ShortStack Features:
One thing to note is that ShortStack doesn’t have a WordPress plugin. When I tested it, I had to copy and paste the embed code into my site manually.
User Review
ShortStack users typically liked its customization options. One customer used it to “collect entries for large annual contests that submit photos, videos, or essays”. However, this same user found the interface “clunky” and hard for beginners.
ShortStack Pricing:
While ShortStack does offer a limited free version, the premium version starts from $79/month (if you pay annually).
For more information, check out our ShortStack review.
Agorapulse is mostly known as a social media management tool, but it also includes a simple way to run Facebook contests.
I tested Agorapulse while managing some Facebook pages, and the timeline contest feature was pretty handy. It’s not a full giveaway builder like some other tools here, but it’s useful if Facebook is your main platform
Agorapulse Features:
If you’re already using Agorapulse for social media scheduling or engagement, the contest tool is a nice bonus.
User Review
Most customers gave AgoraPulse 4.5 out of 5 stars and commented on its social media management features. However, some users found the free version’s limitations to be a stumbling block.
Agorapulse Pricing:
The pricing starts at $89/month (billed annually). You can create a free online giveaway during your 30-day free trial.
Woobox is another solid Rafflecopter alternative. It gives you an easy way to create giveaways, landing pages, and other campaigns without needing to know any code.
When I tested Woobox, I liked how simple it was to embed a giveaway on my WordPress site using a shortcode. That saved me time compared to copying raw HTML like I had to do with Rafflecopter.
Woobox Features:

The most recent customer reviews I could find for Woobox were several years old, praising its social media giveaway options. However, I recommend trying it for yourself to review any new features.
Woobox Pricing:
This Rafflecopter alternative offers a free version. The premium version starts from $37 per month for the best features.

Wishpond is a full marketing platform that includes tools for landing pages, email automation, payments, and more. It’s a bit heavier than most Rafflecopter alternatives, but it does have solid contest features.
When I tested Wishpond, I could see how useful it would be for businesses that want an all-in-one system. But if you just need a simple giveaway tool, this might feel like too much.

I tried Easypromos when I needed something for a client’s Instagram giveaway. It worked well, especially for managing entries across platforms. The interface takes a bit of getting used to, but the features are strong.

The next Rafflecopter competitor is Gleam. It’s a marketing platform with several tools, including a giveaway builder called Competitions.
I’ve used Gleam before on a couple of client sites. It’s packed with features and works well, but it can feel overwhelming at first. Some plans are also pricey depending on what you need.

To unlock more features like Zapier integration or Facebook pixel tracking, you’ll need to upgrade to the paid version.
