It feels like we were announcing our LinkedIn actions for RafflePress only yesterday. But as we promised, we’ve been busy creating even more ways to grow your business with viral giveaways.

Today we’re excited to announce 3 brand new giveaway actions for RafflePress:

  1. Leave a Comment
  2. Write a Blog Post
  3. Subscribe to RSS Feed

That’s 3 more ways to drive engagement, traffic, and awareness for your business.

Let’s take a look at all the details.

New “Comment to Win” Giveaway Action

The Leave a Comment entry option is an ideal way to boost engagement on your blog. Just ask people to leave a comment in exchange for entries into your giveaway.

Users have to enter the email they used when posting their comment. This makes it easier for you to qualify their entry.

This action isn’t limited to blog comments either. You could use it on product pages to ask people to leave a product review or testimonials to boost social proof.

Write a Blog Post to Enter the Giveaway

One of the best ways to promote your brand online is to get other people writing about it. Yet, people rarely choose to do this if there isn’t an incentive.

That’s where our Write a Blog Post entry option can help.

RafflePress write a blog post giveaway action

With this action, you can ask users to write a blog post about a topic of your choosing in exchange for the chance to win a prize. All they have to do is leave a link to their published post to qualify.

We call this a win-win situation.

Not only do people get the chance to win a freebie, but they also spread the word about your products or services to their audience.

The result? Greater brand awareness!

Subscribe to RSS Feed Entry Option

If you want to increase traffic to your website or blog, you’ll want to spend time boosting your subscribers.

Our new Subscribe to RSS Feed option is a fantastic way to drive more traffic to your site, even if you don’t have an email list.

All people have to do is click a button to subscribe, and they instantly earn entries for your giveaway.

It could be a feed for new blog posts, news, products, and more. Yet the result is the same: more people flocking to consume your content.

From today, all of these actions are available to users of the RafflePress Pro plan and above. You can learn more about them in the giveaway actions documentation.

That’s it for today.

But there’s a whole lot more planned for RafflePress. So stay tuned for what’s coming up next.

Comments

  1. What comments can we use? I mean there are Facebook and Disqus comment plugins besides native WP comments. Can we set up such a comment trigger?
    Thanks!

    1. Hi VA,

You can use any comments system or plugin. All you need to do is direct people to where they should leave their comment.

  2. Is it possible to change the icon for the “leave a comment” action. Instead of the wordpress icon (which most people would not recognize) to something else?
